UCT Student housing 2024-2025
UCT Student housing 2024-2025
The University of Cape Town (UCT) provides a variety of housing options for its undergraduate and postgraduate students, both on-campus and off-campus. Usually, students will start their stay in first-tier housing, which is fully catered, then move to second-tier housing, which is senior catered or self-catered, and eventually reside in third-tier housing, which is semi-autonomous and self-catered.
Safety
- Although each property has its own distinct traditions and history, they all strive to make an impression on guests that will last a lifetime. All flats at UCT have strict access controls and the majority are monitored by closed-circuit television cameras because UCT places a high value on safety.
Students with impairments
- The Disability Service and Student Accommodation Office can assist students with disabilities in finding suitable housing options. Students can contact the office to discuss their specific needs and receive support.
