NWU online Registration 2024-2025

We are excited to offer our students the convenience and ease of online registration. Click the link below to begin your registration process.

Prospective students can now register for classes at the University of North West online and apply for admission. Students should take note to adhere to the instructions provided from the aforementioned web portal.

Online Registration at NWU

The registration period for first-year students in the class of 2024-2025 will run from January through February 16, and an orientation program will be presented from February through February.

Steps for Online Registration at NWU

Please visit the following link to register with NWU: studies.nwu.ac.za
Log in using your student ID and pin.
After selecting “Registration,” select “Self-Registration.” Choose your qualification and then press “Next.”
To use the “Pre-requisite Test,” click “Next.” Now, it will show which modules you can register for.
Use the Online Faculty Registration Assistance to choose the appropriate modules to register for.
The option to provide “Personal Information” must be chosen (POPIA) Give accurate “contact information” if possible.
“Undertaking” accepted Verifies that the student has accepted the terms of the contract
“Registration was successful,” it will say in the notification. The student will receive a proof of registration email at the provided email address.

Reminder: Applicants must first speak with the Global Engagement Office. No registrations without consultation will be accepted.

The requirements for the Global Engagement Office

Communications with this office can be done electronically. The following details should be included in a single email:

Student number, year of registration, level, and Campus are the subject fields.
Colour Scanned copies of your passport, visa, or other document allowing you to live in South Africa, as well as, if applicable, your green identification card.
Only PRP holders are exempt from providing proof of health insurance. You must also provide documentation of your MMR, meningitis, and, if necessary, yellow fever vaccinations.

Meningitis must be repeated every five years and MMR is given to adults for life.
