The University of Mpumalanga (UMP) is a generally new college that offers a scope of undergrad and postgraduate projects. The following is some information about how international students can apply to UMP:

Application Requirements for International Students:

1. Academic Requirements:

• International students are required to have completed the equivalent of a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree pass. International students whose previous studies were not in English will be required to provide proof of English proficiency, such as TOEFL or IELTS scores. Certified copies of academic transcripts from all previous institutions are required.

2. Application Fee:

• A R500 application fee is required of international students.

3. Supporting Documents:

• A copy of your passport
• a certified copy of your identification or birth certificate (if either is available)
• A recent passport-sized photo
• A curriculum vitae (CV)
• Any additional documentation needed for the particular program of study

Application Process:

• Complete the appropriate application form that can be found on the UMP website.
• Pay the application fee.
• Email or mail the completed application form and supporting documents to UMP.
• Wait for a response from UMP regarding your application status.

Note: There are two UMP campuses, one in Siyabuswa and one in Nelspruit. On your application, make sure to specify which campus you would like to attend.
